Elwoods

Initially the plan for the old "River's Edge" building was to level it!  The building was in serious disrepair.  Once we began talking to local residents and neighbors we quickly realized what an important part of the River Parks history and culture it was.  We decided that tearing it down would be a disservice to the park and the City of Tulsa.

The group decided to invest the additional capital to renovate the property and we believe that Tulsans will be very happy we did!  We named it after our very own saxophone weilding mascot, Elwood, and got to work refurbishing the kitchen area, redecorating the service area, adding flat screen televisions, and a music system.  Future plans include an exterior "face-lift", bathroom improvements, and expanded activities throughout the year.  We've been so proud to host "Art Rocks Riverside", "Rock & Rescue", several poker runs, and some of the best seats in town for "Freedom Fest".  Come join us on Wednesday nights for "Movie on the Lawn" during the spring, summer, and fall.

It's important to us to preserve this venue's commitment to local, live entertainment in the park.  We have live music several nights per week (weather permitting).  Elwood's menu includes fresh deli sandwiches, soups, salads, mixed drinks, wine, and of course ice cold beer.  We also provide cold bottled water, energy drinks, hot coffee, energy bars, and fresh fruit for those on the go.  And don't be surprised to find some "treats" for the kiddos and your four legged friends too.

Be sure to check our Facebook pages for weather related changes in activities.  Join us for a little "rollin' on the river"! You'll be glad you did!
